Limbo on Shuffle: name your multiplier, the round either matches it or it does not

Last updated ·

Limbo is Crash without the curve. You pre-set a target multiplier. The platform generates a random number. If the number is at or above your target, you win at the target multiplier. If it falls below, you lose the stake. RTP is 99%, max multiplier is one million. The math is the same as Dice in spirit but plays out in one beat per round instead of a roll-under reveal.

How Limbo works

You set the bet and the target multiplier (anything from 1.01x to 1,000,000x). The provably fair hash generates a number between 1.00 and infinity, weighted so that 99% of all possible outcomes lie below 100x and the tail extends very rarely into the millions. If the rolled number is at or above your target, you win and the win pays at exactly your target multiplier. If it falls below, you lose the stake.

Win chance is exactly 99 divided by your target. At a 2x target, you win 49.5% of rolls. At 100x target, you win 0.99%. At 1,000x target, 0.099%.

Pros and cons of Limbo

What we like

  • Cleanest game in the catalogue: one decision per round (target), instant resolution
  • 99% RTP
  • Provably fair
  • Fastest auto-bet in the casino: 10+ rounds per second possible
  • Max multiplier of one million genuinely exists, has been verified in public results

What we don't

  • Visually plain; no animation drama like Crash
  • Zero strategic depth: only the target choice changes outcome distribution
  • High targets feel exciting but burn bankrolls fast
  • Easy to over-bet because rounds are so fast

Limbo vs Crash: which one and when

Limbo and Crash share the same underlying math. Both have 99% RTP. Both let you pre-set a cash-out target. The difference is dramaturgy. Crash shows the multiplier climbing in real time, so you see how close you came on a miss. Limbo shows a single number, win or lose, instantly.

Practical takeaway. If you want fastest possible volume for wagering clearance, use Limbo. The round resolves in under a second. If you want entertainment value during the play session, Crash gives you the climbing animation and the option to manually pull the trigger early.

Frequently asked questions

What target multiplier clears MAXBET fastest?
1.50x target with auto-bet at 0.5% of bankroll per round. Hit rate is roughly 65%, the math favours steady wagering progress over hero swings. Variance stays manageable across long sessions.
What's the RTP on Shuffle Limbo?
99%. House edge is 1% applied uniformly. No setup, multiplier, or session length changes that number.
Does Limbo count toward the 35x wagering on MAXBET?
Yes. 100% contribution like every Original. Keep bets at or under $10 during the welcome offer and you're inside terms.
Can I chase a 1,000x multiplier on Limbo for the airdrop?
Mathematically yes. Realistically you'll hit it roughly once per 1,000 rounds at the 1,000x target. The airdrop weighting rewards SHFL-staked accounts more than high-target Limbo chasers.
Is Limbo provably fair?
Yes. Hashed server seed plus your client seed plus a nonce. Rotate seeds whenever you want, verify any round on the Fairness panel.
What's the maximum payout on Shuffle Limbo?
1,000,000x as a published cap. You'd need a target multiplier above 990,000x to even attempt it. RTP still maps to 99%.
