USDT on Tron (TRC-20) is the speed-and-cheapness winner. Network fees run under $1 and confirmations clear in 19-30 seconds. If you're converting from a centralised exchange and want it credited fast, TRC-20 is the standard choice.

SOL is similarly fast, one confirmation in two seconds, and fees are near-zero. USDC on the Solana network gets the same speed. Both are good picks if your exchange supports the Solana chain for withdrawals.

BTC takes longer because the Bitcoin network needs one confirmation and blocks arrive roughly every 10 minutes. The upside is BTC is universally available across exchanges and wallets. Nothing is blocked; you just wait longer.

Step-by-step: making your first deposit

One critical step that catches new users: always double-check that the network you select on Shuffle matches the network you're sending on. Sending USDT on ERC-20 to a TRC-20 address sends funds into the void. Shuffle cannot recover cross-chain deposits.

Network fees: what you actually pay

Shuffle charges no deposit fee. Every cent in the fee column above is zero from Shuffle's side. You will pay the sending network's gas or transaction fee on your end: near-zero on TRX, SOL, BNB Smart Chain; moderate on Ethereum mainnet at busy periods; moderate-and-predictable on Bitcoin.

If you're depositing from a centralised exchange (Binance, Coinbase, OKX, Kraken), that exchange will charge a withdrawal fee to move funds out. Those fees vary by exchange and coin, and are not controlled by Shuffle. Using TRC-20 or SOL typically keeps those exchange-side fees lowest.

Fiat on-ramp: no card deposit, but there is a workaround

Shuffle does not accept fiat currency directly. You cannot deposit with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, or a bank transfer and play with the money directly. The cashier is crypto only.

There is a fiat-to-crypto on-ramp inside the Shuffle cashier via MoonPay and Ramp Network. These are third-party services that let you buy supported crypto with a card or bank transfer, with the purchased crypto going straight to your Shuffle wallet. Fees from those providers apply and are set by them, not Shuffle. The purchase happens on their rails; Shuffle only receives the crypto once the purchase completes.
